Fire at Wendy’s in Indiana investigated

INDIANA State police are investigating a fire that caused $500,000 damage early Wednesday to Wendy’s Restaurant, 1786 Oakland Ave. in White Township.

The fire started in the rear of the restaurant around 12:30 a.m. just after it had closed, Trooper Timothy Frew said.

Firefighters from Indiana and surrounding communities responded to the blaze. Nobody was injured in the fire, he said.
