Johnstown police picked up two 17-year-old juveniles Thursday night after they reportedly were involved in a robbery in Dale Borough.
Information was not available from the Dale police.
Johnstown police Capt. Andy Frear said that the juveniles were taken into custody at 9:45 p.m. in the 900 block of Fronheiser Street. The city police were in that area because of a reports of shots fired, although no evidence of that was found, Frear said.
The two juveniles had a .45-caliber gun and marijuana in their possession, Frear said. They are facing charges in juvenile court and were lodged in the county juvenile detention home, he said.
