In brief: Solomon Homes stabbing probed

Johnstown police were investigating a report of a stabbing around 8:30 p.m. Saturday at the Solomon Homes.
Cambria 911 reported that one person had been transported to Memorial Medical Center.
Details were not available Saturday night.
Boy hurt in auto accident
VINCO – A young boy was injured when the vehicle in which he was riding hit a tree shortly after 9 a.m. Saturday in the 2900 block of William Penn Avenue.
Details were not available Saturday night from the Jackson Township police. A police report will not be available until Monday, an officer said.
Cambria 911 reported that two adults as well as the boy were transported to Memorial Medical Center.
Car damaged when hit with pumpkin
SHANKSVILLE – State police are investigating an incident in which a GMC Envoy was damaged when a pumpkin was thrown at it while it was parked along Main Street.
Police said that the left headlight was damaged on the vehicle, which is owned by George Dewey Stull Jr. of Shanksville.
The incident happened between 10 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. Saturday.
Man hurt when car plummets 30 feet
JENNERSTOWN – A Stoystown man was injured shortly after 1 a.m. Saturday when his car slid off rain-covered Route 30 and went into a 30-foot deep culvert in Jenner Township.
The state police said that the driver, 18-year-old Ryan J. Muchler, was ejected from the vehicle. He was taken to Memorial Medical Center.
Details were not available from the hospital.
Indiana man killed in wreck
LIGONIER - An Indiana man was killed Thursday evening when his vehicle was involved in an accident on Route 711 in Cook Township.
State police said that the victim, Barry L. Dore, 59, had been traveling north when the accident occurred shortly before 8 p.m.
