6 Penn State Altoona students charged

ALTOONA — Six students from the Altoona Campus of Penn State have been charged with the sale or use of marijuana on and off the campus, authorities said Monday.

Mazen Al-Angari, 20, Shane Sloan, 18, Jeray Willis, 18 and John Krasinski, 18, all were charged with delivery of marijuana, said the  state Attorney General’s Bureau of Narcotics Investigation in a news release. Charged with using marijuana were Bryan Bacchiochi, 19, and Casey McCullough, 18.

The investigation was initiated by the campus police in March and became a joint investigation with the Blair County Drug Task Force, said the release.

The operation yielded the seizure of $1,339 in currency and a quarter pound of marijuana with a street value of between $500 and $700.
