Johnstown police searching for stabbing suspect

JOHNSTOWN — Johnstown police continue to search for the knife-wielding man who allegedly stabbed another man in the Prospect section of the city on Tuesday.

City police said a man was walking along Gray Avenue around 11:40 p.m. when 20-year-old Donnie Quietle Jones allegedly ran out from behind one of the buildings at Prospect Homes and stabbed him in the right arm.

Police are searching for Jones.

The victim was taken to Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center in Johnstown.

Jones, who has an Oakhurst Homes address, is charged with aggravated assault, reckless endangerment and disorderly conduct.
