PHILADELPHIA PRIEST, FORMER TEACHER FACE SENTENCING FOR SEXUALLY ABUSING ALTAR BOY IN CASE THAT LED TO CHURCH OFFICIAL'S CONVICTION

The Rev. Charles Engelhardt and the former teacher, Bernard Shero, are due in court today. They've been convicted of molesting a boy in the 1990s. That complaint also led to the endangerment conviction of Monsignor William Lynn, who had transferred an admitted pedophile priest to the same parish.

Authorities say Dr. Kermit Gosnell ran a "pill mill" by day and a rogue "abortion mill" by night. Gosnell's attorney says he'll plead guilty today to charges he sold prescriptions for OxyContin and other painkillers to people who lined up at the clinic's front desk.

Herbert and Catherine Schaible, of Philadelphia, are jailed on a charge they didn't seek medical care before their 8-month-old son, Brandon, died of pneumonia in April. The couple was still on probation in what prosecutors call the "eerily similar" pneumonia death of their 2-year-old son, Kent, in 2009. Defense lawyers say the Schaibles are good parents who don't intend their children any harm.
