IUP selected among ‘Best for Vets’
INDIANA – IUP has been selected as one of the nation’s “Best for Vets” colleges and universities following a national survey of more than 650 institutions.
The university is one of only 68 four-year schools chosen for the recognition.
The survey was conducted by Military Times, an international publication for members of military.
The publication recognized IUP for having an established Veterans Affairs office and for accepting American Council on Education credits, which convert military training into academic hours.
Approximately 600 veterans are enrolled at IUP, with about
90 percent in IUP’s undergraduate programs.
