A one vehicle accident on Mount Airy Drive late Saturday sent two people to the hospital, Cambria 911 officials said.
The crash was reported at 9:20 p.m. after the vehicle struck a tree alongside the road in Richland Township, a 911 supervisor said.
Conditions on the pair, whose names were not given, were not available Sunday. One was taken to Windber Medical Center and the other to Memorial Medical Center, 911 officials said.
Inmate accused of throwing urine
SOMERSET – An SCI-Somerset inmate was charged with aggravated assault Thursday, accused of throwing what was believed to be urine on a man.
State police in Somerset said Elizah McDonald, 22, was on a prison work crew in the jail when he tossed the fluid.
Man lured teen girl for sex, police say
INDIANA – A Blairsville man was arrested Saturday in a shopping center parking lot after enticing a juvenile female to meet him there for sex and then fleeing police when they showed up to take him into custody.
State police in Indiana said Woodrow Hicks, 43, used text messages to lure the teen girl to a White Township Walmart.
He resisted arrest when police arrived, they added, but was eventually taken into custody.
He currently faces a list of charges, including corruption of a minor, attempted statutory sexual assault and resisting arrest.
