LORETTO — Andrew Krout (left) and Brandon Godfrey jump into Lake St. Francis on Friday during the seventh annual Polar Bear Swim at St. Francis University in Loretto. The university’s Tau Kappa Epsilon brothers jumped into the water to raise money for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, which was founded by TKE alumnus Danny Thomas. All TKE chapters have pledged to raise at least $1 million in the next five years for the hospital to add a wing. The group sold T-shirts for $10 and wristbands for $3.
