Pleasantville man dies from injuries in single vehicle crash

A Pleasantville man died as the result of injuries he received three weeks ago in a single vehicle crash on Route 96.

State police at Bedford reported Wednesday that James Yingling, 35, died Sunday at Memorial Medical Center in Johnstown as a result of the injuries he sustained on Nov. 21.

Yingling was driving a 2006 Saturn in the northbound lane of Route 96 in West Saint Clair Township when he failed to negotiate a right curve.

Police said the vehicle was heavily damaged when he went off the roadway.
