Secret Santa delivers cheer

WASHINGTON — An anonymous man paid the remainder of five families’ layaways  at Toys R Us in Washington Mall in South Strabane.

Dennis and Autumn Buckley of Washington County said the man paid $205 they owed on a Thomas the Tank Engine set for their 2-year-old son, John.

Dennis Buckley, a pilot, said he was touched by the kindness but they’re not facing financial hardship, He said he’ll pay it forward by putting  in 10 hours of flight time with Angel Flight, nonprofit whose volunteers fly seriously ill patients to medical facilities free of charge.
