A Cambria County man has pleaded no contest to charges that he furnished alcohol to a teenager who was involved in a crash that killed a girl.
Patrick Fyock, 24, of Vintondale, entered the plea in Blair County court to charges of involuntary manslaughter and providing alcohol to a minor.
Fyock purchased alcohol that police say was consumed by Daniel Paul Sullivan Turous, also of Vintondale,.
Turous, who was 17 at the time of the Sept. 25, 2010, crash in Hollidaysburg, was behind the wheel of a car that went out of control and rolled over, killing Kelsey Lynn Miller, 16, of Nanty Glo.
Turous is serving a sentence in state prison.
Fyock was sentenced to 41/2 to 23 months in the Cambria County Prison and fined $1,500.
Blair County Judge Timothy Sullivan also ordered Fyock to undergo a drug and alcohol evaluation.
