TIRE HILL — Police in Conemaugh Township are asking the public’s help in finding two people they said swiped a UPS package from the front porch of the home in Somerset County.

Conemaugh police Detective Michael Popma said a man and a woman calmly walked onto the property in the 500 block of Soap Hollow Road in the daytime on Thursday.

The couple grabbed the UPS packed and other items from the front porch and retreated into the vehicle they arrived in.

The homeowner was able to capture images of the suspects on surveillance video.

The video shows a bald white male with a beard, a tattoo on upper left arm and wearing sunglasses. The second suspect is a white woman. Police said the couple may have entered an unlocked barn but it’s not clear if anything was taken.

Anyone with information on the crime is asked to contact Conemaugh Township police at 814-288-1400 or 1-800-362-5060.
