Ferndale Class of ‘67 planning reunion

Ferndale Area High School’s Class of 1967 will hold an informal 45-year reunion from 1 to 4 p.m. April 20 at the Woodside Bar & Grill, 430 Highland Park Road in the Belmont section of Johnstown.

Black Bear 5K Sprint set for Saturday

The Black Bear 5K Sprint to Success Run/Walk will be held Saturday at the Richland campus of Pennsylvania Highlands Community College.

This is the sixth annual Black Bear event to be held by the Pennsylvania Highlands College Foundation. All proceeds benefit the foundation and student scholarships.

Awards will be given to the top three female and male finishers in their respective

age categories as well as the top three male and female overall finishers.

Registration will open at 8 a.m. at the college’s visitor entrance and the race will start at 9.

Wessel & Co., a certified public accounting and business consulting firm with headquarters in Johnstown, is the corporate sponsor.
