A Meyersdale man was sentenced in Somerset County court Thursday for corrupting the morals of two underage girls.
President Judge John M. Cascio sentenced Duane P. Hay Jr., 32, of Beachley Street, to serve two to 23 months in the county jail on two counts of corruption of minors.
Meyersdale police accused Hay of performing a sexual act with a female juvenile in November 2012 at his residence.
In February, the girl told police, Hay tried to entice her and another juvenile into having sex. Police said the incident occurred after the three exchanged text messages about visiting an apartment.
Police were called to the apartment early Feb. 14 and found both girls.
Hay also was sentenced to serve two years probation and was fined $300.
