JOHNSTOWN — Hauntings and magic are part of the season.

A paranormal presentation and magic show will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday at the Summerhill Township Volunteer Fire Company, 411 Cedar St., Beaverdale.

The evening will begin with some magic tricks by Rodney Wisen of Portage, followed by a paranormal presentation by paranormal investigator, psychic and medium, Ryan Michaels of Sidman.

Both are members of the Paranormal Association of Cambria County, also known as The Believers.

Michaels is a presenter, adviser, consultant and missing persons consultant for the group.

“I will give a talk on the history of Halloween and the paranormal,” Michaels said. “I’ve been doing something here for the last two years.”

He also gave a similar presentation at the Venue of Merging Arts in Johnstown.

A psychic since age 10, Michaels has been featured on A&E’s “Psychic Kids: Children of the Paranormal” in 2010 and on ABC’s “20/20.”

Currently working on 34 missing person cases, Michaels has given more than 1,300 readings, parties, consultations and advice by communicating with more than 3,500 spirits.

He has been featured on various Internet and radio shows, including his own show, “Inside Your Mind with Medium Ryan Michaels.”

There will be a meet-and-greet, snacks and Halloween music from 8 to 10.

“This will be kid friendly,” Michaels said. “There will be treats for the kids, and anyone who dresses up in costume will pay a lower admission.”

Tickets will be available at the door.

Michaels is looking for members to join his paranormal investigation group, the Paranormal Association of Cambria County.

Anyone interested can speak with him at the presentation or go to his page on Facebook.
