Police are looking for 26-year-old Shane Bradley Neisner of the 1200 block of Killiwhat Street, Johnstown.
Police said Neisner entered Littman Jewelers in the mall shortly before 2:30 p.m. and asked to see a diamond ring.
Neisner then allegedly snatched the $5,999 ring from the hand of the salesperson and ran out of the store.
A short time later, Neisner returned to the mall and sold the ring to TK Jewelers Bench for $300, police said.
Witnesses identified Neisner as the robber, police said.
Neisner is being charged with robbery, retail theft, receiving stolen property and theft by deception.
It’s believed he may have fled on a motorcycle.
Police said they also are searching for second suspect.
Coupon sewage system meeting set
COUPON – A date has been set for a community-wide meeting with all Coupon residents regarding the inadequate sewage disposal system.
Options available to village residents and actions to be taken thereby will be discussed with state Department of Environmental Protection agent Jack Crislip.
All of those residing in the Coupon area are being urged to attend.
The meeting will take place at 10 a.m. Wednesday in the Gallitzin Township Municipal Building, 206 Walnut St. in Ashville.

The Salvation Army of Johnstown will offer a free vision screening and eyeglasses from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday at its downtown location, 576 Vine St.

Social Media Boot Camp available
STATE COLLEGE – Penn State will host a Social Media Boot Camp in which small-business owners and entrepreneurs will have the opportunity to learn from professionals in social media.
The conference, set for Tuesday and Wednesday, will be held at Keller Building on the University Park campus.
