City man is accused of harassment

JOHNSTOWN — A Johnstown man was jailed Monday after police said he harassed Westmont residents on several occasions.

West Hills Regional police charged Jon David Reitz, 44, of Juniper Street, with three counts of criminal trespass and one count each of harassment and disorderly conduct.

In a criminal complaint, police said Reitz shouted obscenities to several people including a juvenile Saturday along Penn Avenue.

Later that day, Reitz allegedly chased a vehicle down the street onto another property.

Neighbors told police there have been other incidents involving Reitz but have not called police for fear of retaliation.

Reitz was expected to be arraigned Monday night and then sent to the Cambria County Prison.
