Sheriff lists 10 most wanted

EBENSBURG — Cambria County Sheriff Bob Kolar has released his list of10 most wanted fugitives for May and issued an appeal for the public’s help in locating them.

The list again includes fugitives wanted for a variety of offenses, for failing to appear for court hearings or failing to pay costs, fines and restitution.

After the April list was released, nine of the 10 fugitives were picked up within five days, the sheriff’s office reported.

The last known address for each of the fugitives was in Johnstown.

The most wanted (from left) and some of their alleged crimes are: Alan Anderson, forgery, criminal conspiracy; Michael Battle, drug and gun counts; Michael Burggraf, bad checks, receiving stolen property; Eugene Elderkin, criminal trespass, disorderly conduct;; Shy Lawton, drug counts, criminal conspiracy; Chad Nagle, driving under the influence, theft; Mekiya Shaw, aggravated and simple assault, reckless endangerment; Jarett Smith, drug counts; and Erika Winkleman, bad checks, public drunkenness.
