Five more people have been charged in connection with a fight at a fraternity party on the Pitt-Johnstown campus in November.
The brawl erupted Nov. 22 at the Acacia Fraternity House located at Hawthorne Lodge.
When campus police arrived, they found “numerous fights” had broken out in a crowd of more than 100 people, a court document shows.
Police said they restored order inside the fraternity house, but people continued fighting outside. Police used pepper spray to break up the fights, and the crowd was dispersed.
Quinton Lavaughn Davis, 21, of West Mifflin; Antoine D. Buie, 21, of Harrisburg; Parnell Glover, 21, of Philadelphia; and Marcus Eugene Tullis, 22, and Vickie Robert Davenport, 23, both of Johnstown.
They will appear before District Judge Max Pavlovich of Richland Township.
Three others were arrested shortly after the fight and appeared in court last month.
UPJ spokesman Robert Knipple said the university could take action against any student who was involved. A review is being carried out by Pitt’s main campus police, a requirement whenever a weapon is drawn or a baton or pepper spray is used, he said.
