Police investigate fatal accident on Chickentown Road in Somerset Township

SOMERSET — State Police in Somerset are investigating a one-vehicle fatal accident that occurred shortly after midnight Monday on Chickentown Road in Somerset Township.

According to a police report, Kody Dwire, 22, of Somerset was killed after he was ejected from a 2011 Honda Accord that struck a tree after leaving the roadway and overturning.

The owner of the vehicle, Casey Miller, 22, of Somerset also was ejected from the vehicle. He was transported to Memorial Medical Center where he is expected to recover from her injuries.

The investigation continues and police ask that anyone with information on the accident call them at 445-4104.
