JOHNSTOWN — A Johnstown teenager was ordered to stand trial in the Feb. 6 shooting death of another man in the city’s Moxham neighborhood.

City police alleged that Shahliek Maxwell Greene, 19, gunned down Joshua Scott Price, 29, inside a home in the 500 block of Cypress Avenue.

Greene was ordered held for court following a preliminary hearing Monday before District Judge Leonard Grecek of Roxbury.

Greene is charged with criminal homicide, aggravated assault, possession of a prohibited firearm and carrying a firearm without a license.

The shooting occurred during a reported dispute between the two men over a vehicle, police said.

Price was shot at least four times and died at the scene, investigators said.

A .380 caliber handgun was used in the shooting, police said.

City police arrived at the scene within four minutes of the call and found the victim and a few others inside the house.

EMS personnel arrived and found Price without a pulse and not breathing, police said.

Police located Greene at a home on Von Lunen Road.

Greene is being held without bond at the Cambria County Prison.

He is represented by Johnstown attorney Robert Davis Gleason.
