Police: Somerset County burglar now suspected in 21 break-ins

JENNERSTOWN — State police say a man seen on surveillance video in a recent burglary may be responsible for breaking into 20 other Somerset County-area businesses since July.

The new video released by troopers from Somerset shows the masked, hooded suspect inside Somerset Board and Ski Shop. Troopers believe the same man also broke into Rustic Mountain Pizza, another business on Glades Pike in Jefferson Township, early Saturday.

Troopers have previously released other images saying they believe the man has broken into 19 other businesses, mostly in the Jennerstown area, along U.S. Route 30.

Police say the suspect’s right foot turns in and he walks with a pronounced limp.

He’s also targeted automatic teller machines, restaurants, markets and larger businesses, including an iron and steel company
