City shooting investigated

JOHNSTOWN — Johnstown police are investigating a shooting Saturday that left a man hospitalized. Police spent the day interviewing witnesses to the shooting, which occurred inside an apartment in the 400 block of Fronheiser Street across from Family Dollar.

The victim was shot at 2:45 p.m. in a second-floor apartment in a building that once housed a flooring business. He was taken to Memorial Medical Center. The victim’s name and the circumstance surrounding the incident were not available.
