Stars coming to Altoona

ALTOONA The Altoona Curve will be bringing some big names to Blair County Ballpark this season.

The team’s promotional schedule is highlighted by the Retro Celebrity Series, which includes TV stars from days gone by. They include Richard Moll (“Night Court”), Erik Estrada (“C.H.I.P.S.”), Adam West (“Batman”), Barry Williams (“The Brady Bunch”), Jamie Farr (“M.A.S.H.”), Sherman Hemsley (“The Jeffersons”), Jerry Mathers (“Leave It Beaver”), Bernie Kopell (“The Love Boat”), Dawn Wells (“Gilligan’s Island”) Ron Palillo (“Welcome Back Kotter”) and Jimmie Walker (“Good Times”).

The team has scheduled Awful Night IV: Beating a Dead Horse for July 13.

Twenty-five fireworks shows are scheduled throughout the season, including one after the home opener on April 6.
