BEDFORD – Steven Garlock scored 20 points to lead Bedford past visiting Forest Hills on Wednesday night. Mark Scott had 16 points and Zach Hess, 13, for the Bisons.
Luke Gallaher led Forest Hills with 23 points, and Brett Oswalt had 17.
Bishop Carroll 47Westmont Hilltop 43
EBENSBURG – Chad Panick scored 19 points and Luke Paronish had 12 as Bishop Carroll defeated visiting Westmont Hilltop.
Mike Valcheff had 12 points and Josh Swick netted 10 to front Westmont.
Bishop McCort 57, Richland 28
Jim Spisak netted 21 points, Jack Schrey had 11 and Zach Freeman scored 10 as host Bishop McCort won a defensive battle against Richland.
Penn Cambria 59, B. Guilfoyle 46
CRESSON – Josh Swope had 18 points, including 11 in the third quarter, to lead Penn Cambria.
Joe Dziabo added 14 for the Panthers.
Nick Johnston’s 12 points led the visitors.
North Star 66, Turkeyfoot 25
CONFLUENCE – Luke Zellem scored 22 points and Alijah Petrilla added 19 for North Star.
Rockwood 47, Blacklick Valley 41
ROCKWOOD – Riley Harrold netted 17 points to lead Rockwood over visiting Blacklick Valley.
Taylor Holby led Blacklick Valley with 17 points.

SIDMAN – Teddi Burkett scored 17 points to lead Forest Hills, which got 10 from Kaitlyn Carpenter.
Brandy Harris topped the Bisons with 15 points.

NEW FLORENCE – Sheena Muffey had 17 points and nine steals for the Trojans.
Brittany Hansen had 19 points and Jessica Brown netted 13 for Laurel Valley. Chelsey Hropovich added 10.

LIGONIER – Amy Fairman poured in 32 points for the Stingers.
Emily Daugherty scored 28 to lead the Mounties.

Maria Felton scored 15 points, Lindsay Buchan had 14 and Sarah Pastorek had 12 as Bishop McCort defeated host Richland.
Lauren Hoover led Richland with 10 points.

CAIRNBROOK – Taylor Gruss and Beth Kendera each had 13 points, and Nikki Ledwich had 10 as Conemaugh Valley defeated host Shade.
Casey Roberts had 17 points and 16 rebounds for the Panthers.

SALISBURY – Julie Byer had 18 points, seven rebounds and six steals as visiting Conemaugh Township beat Salisbury-Elk Lick.

BERLIN – Brooke Snyder hit for 19 points and Jackie Kimmel provided 13 as the Mountaineers won at home.
Becca Enedy had 17 points to lead the Mustangs, who also got 14 from Arielle Crum.
Northern Cambria 53, Blairsville 38
BLAIRSVILLE – Breanna Kochinsky had a game-high 20 points as Northern Cambria defeated host Blairsville.
Ariel Rocco had 19 points and Janae Dunchack had 10 for the 4-1 Colts.
Ferndale 63, Shanksville 21
SHANKSVILLE – Brittany Eisenhuth scored 20 points and grabbed 12 rebounds to lead Ferndale. Jamie Rosequist had 18 points and 13 rebounds while April Eisenhuth got 10 rebounds, Chelsey Steeves blocked three shots and Alyssa Pudliner handed out eight assists.
Jen Wilt’s 14 points led the Vikings.
North Star 64, Turkeyfoot 16
CONFLUENCE – The Cougars got 12 points and seven rebounds from Emily Lohr in an easy victory over the Rams.
Nikki Smith had 10 points for North Star, which got 10 assists and nine points from Chelsea Danel, and five assists and six rebounds from Sarah Pelesky.
Somerset 56, Johnstown 44
SOMERSET – Elizabeth Barron’s 14 points led the way for the Eagles in a victory over the winless Trojans. Chelsea Shaulis had 11 points and Nicole Shaffer added 10 for Somerset
Tyneshia Smith had 16 points for Johnstown.
Westmont 44, Bishop Carroll 34
Kirsten Meenan scored 18 points and Alyssa Yewcic had 11 to lead Westmont at home.
Lindsy Sammarco’s game-high 15 topped visiting Bishop Carroll.
Cambria Heights 81, C. Cambria 74
PATTON – Cambria Heights outscored Central Cambria 12-5 in overtime to notch a win behind the 28-point effort of Miranda Zeanchock. Maria Pompa had 15 points, Kristy Gwizdak 14 and Kristie Malloy 13 for the hosts.
Erin Wright’s 21 points paced the Red Devils, who got 15 from Alicia Kenny, 14 by Alicia Mancica and 12 from Brittany James.

PSU grapplers at No. 15 in poll
STATE COLLEGE – Penn State is ranked No. 15 in the latest NWCA/USA Today Coaches Poll, as compiled and released by Intermat.
Penn State, sharing No. 15 with Big Ten rival Michigan, has four individuals ranked by the NWCA while two others are ranked in other national polls.
Despite returning to the line-up at 133 pounds for Penn State and crushing the field at the Nittany Lion Open two weeks ago, senior All-American Jake Strayer, a Forest Hills graduate, is unranked by the NWCA, although he is listed in the top 10 by other national polls.
