Cambria Legion playoffs: Bedford advances past Lilly

LILLY — Braden Hengst tossed a two-hitter with four strikeouts Thursday as visiting Bedford defeated Lilly 7-1 to sweep a best-of-3 first-round playoff series.

Isaac Kline went 3-for-3 with three runs scored and two doubles. Dylan Downs went 2-for-3 with a double and two RBI.

Mark Mardula and Zane Itle had Lilly’s two hits.

    The Pittsburgh Steelers announced Wednesday the team will retire the Hall of Fame defensive end’s number during a game against the Baltimore Ravens on Nov. 2.
