JOHNSTOWN — High School Boys

Conemaugh Valley 71, Blacklick Valley 36: The Blue Jays’ Blake Furman scored a game-high 29 points to help rout the Vikings.  Conemaugh Valley’s Brandon Galasso tallied 11 points in the win. 

Blacklick Valley’s Seth Ellis led the team with 15 points in the loss.

Central Cambria 72, Penn Cambria 56: In Ebensburg, Trevor Zearing had 26 points and Tanner Ambrisco had 22 points as Central Cambria  beat visiting Penn Cambria.

Conner Homan had 10 points and 10 rebounds for the Red Devils.

Chad Tsikalas and Adam George each had 11 points, and Mark Mardula had 10 points for the Panthers.

Conemaugh Township 59, Ferndale 34: In Davidsville, Jeff Callihan had 18 points, and Austin Speigle and Jake Formica each netted 10 as the Indians beat visiting Ferndale.

Ray Hinton led the Yellow Jackets with a game-high 21 points.

Windber 83, North Star 25: In Windber, Bryce Spak picked up a double double with 24 points and 10 rebounds to help Windber defeat North Star in a WestPAC matchup. 

Dan Tomlinson scored 17 points and Devan Tomlinson tallied six points in the win. 

Portage 60, Harmony 28: In Portage, the Mustangs’ Michael Bryja earned a double double scoring 21 points and grabbing 10 rebounds to help Portage blow past the Owls.

Portage’s Cody Randall scored 11 points in the win.  Harmony’s Logan Sral scored 11 points in the loss.

Richland 64, Westmont Hilltop 35: Four Richland players scored in double digits as the Rams beat visiting Westmont Hilltop.

Jacob Lushko had 13 points, Aaron Miller had 12, and Kyle Flick and Ryan Ball each netted 10 for the Rams, who won for the seventh time in eight games.

No Westmont players reached double-digit scoring.

Meyersdale 76, Salisbury-Elk Lick 50: In Meyersdale, Cole Clark had 21 points, and Connor Christner had 20 points and 11 rebounds as the host Red Raiders defeated Salisbury-Elk Lick.

Riley Christner had 17 points for the Raiders.

Nathan Bodes had 14 points for Salisbury-Elk Lick. Diori Pattison had 12 points.

High School Girls

Greater Johntown 53, Bedford 34: In Bedford, the Trojans’ Tashayla Smith scored 14 points and Robyn Madison had 12 points to help beat the Bisons. 

Greater Johnstown’s Janay Myers scored 11 points in the win.

Bedford’s Allison Shuke scored a game high 20 points in the loss at home. 

Bishop Carroll 69, Cambria Heights 66: In Ebensburg, Lea Sammarco scored 21 points and helped the Huskies edge the Highlanders in a LHAC matchup. 

Bishop Carroll’s Brooke Mento and Britt Krug both scored 15 points in the victory. 

The Highlanders’ Kara Cordell scored a game-high 22 points and Emily Crowell tallied 19 points in the loss. 

Bishop Guilfoyle 55, Forest Hills 41: In Sidman, Bishop Guilfoyle’s Lilly Benzel scored a game-high 24 points and helped beat Forest Hills. 

Macy Adams scored 17 points of her own in the win.

The Rangers’ Jill Scott scored 13 points and Caitlyn Gallaher tallied 12 points in the loss. 

Johnstown Christian 56, Ferndale 48: Johnstown Christian’s Maddie Sprankle scored a game-high 22 points and helped beat Ferndale. 

The Blue Jays’ Sam Haynes tallied 12 points in the win. 

Ferndale’s Lauran Olshewsky led the team with 16 points and Lindsay Olshewsky scored 15 points in the defeat.

Westmont Hilltop 56, Richland 24: The Hilltoppers’ Alyssa Miller scored a game-high 11 points  and Bridget Moyer had 10 points to help beat the Rams.

Westmont Hilltop improved its record to 8-1 on the season.
