JOHNSTOWN — Softball

Forest Hills 15, Bishop Guilfoyle 5: In Sidman, Olivia Gregorich went 4 for 4 with a home run and five RBI to help the Rangers beat the Marauders.

Forest Hills’s Kayla Makin had three hits with two RBI. 

Bishop Guilfoyle’s Brayley Lews went 2 for 4 in the loss.

Portage 16, Blacklick Valley 10: In Nanty Glo, the Mustangs’ Kaitie Nolan went 4 for 5 with a triple and six RBI to help defeat the Vikings. 

Portage’s Kaitlyn Jubina and Gina Gallo each went 2for 4 with doubles in the win.

Haley Heidler earned the win giving up 14 hits. 

Blacklick Valley’s Alyssa Campbell was 4 for 5 with two doubles and Allison Thomas went 3 for 4 with five RBI. 

Westmont Hilltop 16, Richland 7:  The Hilltoppers’ Alyssa Miller went 3 for 4, scored three runs, had four RBI and hit a home run to beat the Rams in a Laurel Highlands matchup. 

Westmont Hilltop’s Taylor Hoover had a home run with four RBI and Taylor Kaseler went 3 for 5 with two runs. 

Kaylee Grassmyer struck out eight in the win.

Richland’s Emily Dabbs went 2 for 3 with two runs and three RBI in the loss.



Portage 12, Blacklick Valley 0: In Nanty Glo, Portage’s Luke Dividok went 2 for 4 and scored three runs to help shut out Blacklick Valley. 

The Mustangs’ Brad Rosemas went 4 for 4 with two doubles. Portage’s Bailey Kerch struck out six and gave up one hit in the win.

The Vikings Eric Cesarz had one hit for a double.
