Bishop McCort girls defeat Richland

JOHNSTOWN — Bishop McCort pitcher Ricki Conrad struck out six, walked four and gave up two earned runs in a rain-shortened, 9-4, 51⁄2-inning win over Richland at Roxbury Park.

Jenna Gaunt, Jill Shroyer and Conrad each had two hits for Bishop McCort (5-3) while Conrad and Kayla Orr each drove in two runs.

Samantha Felton, Alyssa Diamond and Samantha Hauser had two hits apiece for Richland. One of Hauser’s hits was a two-run home run.
