Blacklick Valley 61 Rockwood 43
ROCKWOOD - Rockwood’s Sam Emert scored a game-high 25 points to top the 1,000-point mark, but Blacklick Valley pulled away in the fourth quarter to register the road win on Wednesday night.
Breanna Rege topped the Vikings with 21 points while Allison Thomas added 17 points and six steals.
Heather Marsh chipped in 14 rebounds and six steals for Blacklick Valley. Becky Zur had 10 points for the Rockets.
Conemaugh Twp. 77 Salisbury-Elk Lick 30
SALISBURY - Visiting Conemaugh Township roared out to a 25-2 first-quarter lead and soared to a win over Salisbury-Elk Lick.
Five Indians scored in double figures led by Carly Baer with 14. Kelsey Smith added 12 points while Lyndy Baer, Kayla Luprek and Abby Roberts supplied 10 points apiece.
Roberts also had 10 rebounds.
The Elks got 10 points and 11 rebounds from Emily Lowery and nine points from Kylee Short.
Ferndale 57 Shanksville 45
SHANKSVILLE - Kayla Ohler scored 16 points and grabbed 22 rebounds to lead Ferndale to its first win, a road victory over Shanksville-Stonycreek.
Lindsay Olshewsky added 15 points for the Yellow Jackets, who also got 10 points and 10 rebounds from Elizabeth Chobany.
Kayla Stockenus led all scorers with 29 points for the Vikings.
North Star 57 Turkeyfoot Valley 45
CONFLUENCE - North Star never trailed, but the Cougars’ struggles at the free-throw line kept it close until the fourth quarter.
Courtney Schrock scored 14 points, Kayla Rice had 12 and Olivia Zuchelli added 10 for the Cougars (3-7). That helped make up for North Star’s 9-for-33 performance at the foul line.
Katie Ryan’s 15 points paced Turkeyfoot (4-4), while Sadie Riskus had 14.
Conemaugh Valley 62
CAIRNBROOK – Lexi Hody had 18 points, Emily McCray added 17 and Elaine Smith scored 14 in leading Conemaugh Valley.
Emma Spinelli’s 19 points topped the Panthers.
HOMER CITY - Eden Bloom scored a game-high 31 points and grabbed six rebounds in a road win over Homer-Center.
Kylee Surike added 10 points for the Lions (7-3), who also got six steals from Taylor Mack along with eight rebounds and seven assists from Wendi Walsh.
Maggie McGloughlin scored 22 to lead the Wildcats and also top the 1,000-point plateau for her career.
Ligonier Valley 51 Penns Manor 47
LIGONIER - Ligonier Valley got off to a slow start, but turned up the defense in the fourth quarter while outscoring visiting Penns Manor 23-14 to earn the victory.
Kyra Ludwig scored 20 points and had seven steals, all in the second half for the Rams, who also got 13 points from Taylor Rudnik, along with nine points, nine rebounds, four steals and three blocks from Stephanie Heming.
Madison McLaughlin also had five steals for Ligonier.
The Comets’ Krista Gillo led all scorers with 22 points but had none in the fourth quarter. Teammate Mary Roach added 10 points.
Bishop McCort 45 Cambria Heights 44
PATTON - Lacey Krouse and Emily Daley each scored 14 points and Mackenzie Barbin added 10 as Bishop McCort edged host Cambria Heights in a make-up game.
The Highlanders’ Kara Cordell led all scorers with 24 points while teammate Jamie Snedden grabbed 10 rebounds.
Meyersdale 47 Windber 35
MEYERSDALE - Abby Stahl led all scorers with 18 points to lead Meyersdale to a victory over Windber.
Kyley Dunmeyer added 12 points for the Raiders (6-1).
Kaitlyn Weaver topped the Ramblers with 11 points and also had four steals while teammate Kortney Lampel supplied six points, five rebounds, three steals and two blocked shots.

Northern Cambria 59 Marion Center 52
NORTHERN CAMBRIA – Adam Polites scored 25 points and Jeff Hogan added 16 more to go with 11 rebounds and five blocked shots in leading Northern Cambria.
The Colts’ Nick Lee pulled down 14 rebounds.
Todd Fetsko led Marion Center with 18 points. The Stingers got 12 points from Andrew Rupp and 10 from Brody Thompson.
