SLIDESHOW | Johnstown native artist breaks silly laws

This absurd collection of captioned photos depicting silly laws being broken comes from local artist and photographer Olivia Locher, with the My Idea of Fun artist collective.

The series, called "I Fought the Law", has been getting passed around the Internet all week. reported that Locher is working on new snapshots of ridiculous legislation from all 50 states, so there's plenty more to come.

See the full photo set on her website, - but be forewarned, the one photo not shown here is rather NSFW.

In Alabama it's illegal to have an ice cream cone in your back pocket at all times.

In Hawaii coins are not allowed to be placed in one's ears.

In Connecticut pickles must bounce to officially be considered pickles.

In Delaware it is illegal to wear pants that are "form-fitting" around the waist.

In Wisconsin it's illegal to serve apple pie in public restaurants without cheese.

In Texas it is illegal for children to have unusual haircuts.

In California nobody is allowed to ride a bicycle in a swimming pool.
