RICHLAND TOWNSHIP — MARANO – Deborah L. “Deb,” 61, Mineral Point, died Jan. 6, 2014, at Windber Hospice. Born Aug. 19, 1952, in Johnstown, daughter of Grant and Betty (Hurd) Lybarger. Preceded in death by parents; brother, Donald; and stepson, Bernie Marano. Survived by husband, William “Polish Bill,” whom she married Sept. 27, 1987; son, Corey Lybarger (Sharon Donato), Windber; and stepsons, Adam Marano (Stacy Stovall), Parkland, Fla.; and Darin Marano, Rhode Island. Also survived by her stepdaughter-in-law, Nancy (Mangus) Marano, widow of Bernie, East Taylor Township; nephew, Don Lybarger Jr., and his wife, Lynnann, Summerhill; and four grandchildren. Member of Moxham Church of the Brethren, and she worked in the business office at LaurelWood Care Center. Along with husband, Bill, she co-hosted Saturday Morning Polkamotion and the Pennsylvania Polka Show. Deb also organized many bus trips to various polka events. She served as a den mother for Cub Scout Pack 204. She was an avid Daniel O’Donnell fan. By request, there will be no public viewing. Polish Bill asks everyone to remember Deb as the beautiful person she was. Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Moxham Church of the Brethren, the Rev. William Wenger, officiating.
