JOHNSTOWN — STUMPO – Anthony “Buck,” 81, Upper Yoder Township, died Nov. 9, 2012. Born June 12, 1931, in Johnstown, son of Frank Sr. and Edith (Altimore) Stumpo. Preceded in death by parents; wife, Marie, who died in 1988; sister, Fannie, and brother-in-law, Joseph Chirillo; sister, Loretta; brother, Dante “Doc”; brother-in-law, Anthony Catanese; sister-in-law, Angie Catanese; and brother-in-law, Joseph “Buddy” Cantela. Survived by children, Mark, married to Janice (Nihoff); Bethanne, married to Ronald Wyatt, Pittsburgh; and Jeff; grandchildren, Ryan, Morgan and Chad Wyatt and Sara Stumpo. Brother of Samuel “Joe,” married to Pauline (Gironda); Mary Angelo, married to Eugene Delusa; Frank Jr., married to Jeanne (Manganello); Domenick “Mickey,” married to Josephine (Anastasi); Louise, married to Edward Mattis; and James, married to Gail (Cordaro), Colorado; sister-in-law, Ruth (Pingatore) Stumpo; brother-in-law, James Cantela, married to Arlene, New Jersey; and many nieces, nephews and friends at Westmont Lanes and Berkley Golf Course. He was an avid golfer and sports enthusiast. Buck was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. He was a 1949 graduate of Johnstown High School. Member of Sons of Italy 1614, VFW, Berkley Hills Golf Course Herd and St. Clare of Assisi Catholic Church, formerly St. Anthony Church, where funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 15, Father Matthew Misurda. Friends received from 2 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Frank Duca Funeral Home, Westmont Chapel, 1622 Menoher Blvd. Entombment, Grandview Mausoleum.
