Patti fought a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer after receiving a successful kidney transplant in March 2012. Her amazing strength and character got her through many trials and tribulations in her life. But it was her pure and genuine love for her big Italian family that made her the happiest. Her home was her castle and anyone who knew her knows that. She especially loved decorating for the fall and Christmas holidays. A private family celebration of her life and love of family will be held in Vintondale at the next Giazzon family reunion. Donations can be made in her name to her favorite charity, BoysTown.org, or to the American Cancer Society to honor her courageous battle. Arrangements by Askew-Houser Funeral Homes Inc., Nanty Glo.
