WESTMONT — ELLENBERGER – Joan A., 81, Westmont, died Oct. 24, 2012, at Laurel View Village. Born Sept. 17, 1931, in McKeesport, daughter of the late Albert and Irene (Eckersberg) Jackel. Also preceded in death by brothers, Carl (Galina) Jackel and Glenn Sr. (Helen) Jackel. Survived by husband of 62 years, T. Richard Ellenberger Sr.; sons, Dr. Thomas R. Jr. (Elisa), Johnstown; Timothy L. (Pamela), South Carolina; and Dr. Dennis L. (Michele), Atlanta, Ga.; and grandchildren, Elisabeth, Kristy (Dan), Richard (Emily), Laura, Douglas (Joy), Rebecca, Annie, Mark and Julie. Graduated from McKeesport High School and attended Westminster College. Retired from U.S. Bank with 25 years’ service. Former member of Westmont Presbyterian Church. Friends received from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. Saturday at the chapel at Laurel View Village, Davidsville, Pastor Wes Yoder officiating. Private interment. Family is being served by the Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland.
