JOHNSTOWN — MIRILOVICH – Joseph, 93, Johnstown, died Feb. 8, 2014, at the Hollidaysburg Veterans Home. Born March 11, 1920, in Johnstown, son of Joseph and Elizabeth (Gritzer) Mirilovich. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Lillian M. (Gordich) Mirilovich; son, Francis Mirilovich; sister-in-law, Charlotte Gordich; sisters, Anna Mirilovich and Helen Pilot; and brothers, John, Steve and Alex Mirilovich. Survived by sons, Joseph J., married to former Sherri Colburn, Virginia, and Kenneth M., married to former Paulette Tilley, Johnstown; grandchildren, Faith Troyan; Justin, and wife, Alisha Mirilovich; Michael, and wife, Jennifer Mirilovich; and Matthew Mirilovich; great-grandchildren, Samantha Troyan and Iain, Adelaide and Emmett Mirilovich; and brother, Tony, and wife, Margaret “Peggy” Mirilovich. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. A U.S. Army veteran of World War II. Joseph retired from the Franklin ore yard of Bethlehem Steel Corp. Past president of the former Laurel Ridge Rose Society. Joseph was a gardener and rosarian. A member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, where he was an usher and member of the men’s club. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Francis G. Ozog Funeral Home Inc., 710 Broad St., where vigil for the deceased will be held. Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, Franciscan Friars, OFM, Conv. Committal, St. Francis Church Cemetery.
