JOHNSTOWN — FORRESTER – Roberta H., 92, Johnstown, passed away Nov. 23, 2012, at Memorial Medical Center Palliative Care. Born Nov. 8, 1920, in Pittsburgh, daughter of the late Frederick and Katherine (Rhein) Hunt. Preceded in death by husband of 28 years, Robert Frederick Forrester; brothers, Robert and Alfred; and sisters, Edith, Alice and Virginia. Roberta was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Survived by her son, Timothy, and life partner, Betty Stahlman. She was an avid seamstress and enjoyed crafts and gardening. In Greensburg, where she lived for 50 years, she was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church. There she started and oversaw a children’s library, produced the monthly newsletter and helped with the general secretarial work. She moved to the Johnstown area in 2006 to be near her only remaining family, Betty and Tim, who she loved unconditionally. She will be remembered by all who met her because she touched all their hearts. Friends will be received from 1 to 3 and 5 until time of service at 7 p.m. Monday at John Henderson Co. Funeral Home, 215 Central Ave. Interment St. Clair Cemetery, Greensburg.
