Vivian M. (Feighner) Galovich

HASTINGS — GALOVICH – Vivian M. (Feighner) “Sister,” 76, Hastings, passed away Oct. 6, 2013, at Golden Living Center, Hastings. Born Feb. 22, 1937, in Susquehanna Township, daughter of Irvin and Vivian (Stoltz) Feighner. Preceded in death by parents; husband, David Galovich, who died May 17, 2010; brother, Iral Feighner; sister-in-law, Carol (Bodenschatz) Feighner; and  brother-in-law, Edward Galovich. Survived by brother and sister-in-law, Thomas N. and Jean (Bodenschatz) Feighner, Northern Cambria; nephews and nieces, Thomas, and wife, Brenda; Timothy; Troy, and wife, Jacque; Christopher; Catherine; Beverly, and husband, William; Charles; and Jeannie; and great-nephews and -nieces, Katelyn, Sadie Maye, Cheyenne, Chance, Clinton, Jacob, Brittany, Antonia, Matthew and Devan. Also survived by sisters-in-law, Mary Drahnak, Elizabeth (John) Lawrence and Barbara Galovich. Vivian worked as a legal stenographer for a local law office for 40 years. Together with her husband, Dave, Vivian enjoyed celebrating the holidays transforming their farm into a well-known Halloween attraction and playing Mr. & Mrs. Santa Clause for local parades and events. Friends will be received from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Moriconi Funeral Home Inc., Northern Cambria. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Joseph Mission Church, Father Thomas Tyler, celebrant. Committal, St. Joseph Cemetery.
