SEWARD — BUKSA – Pauline (Burger), affectionately known as Lala, 66, Seward, passed away Oct. 28, 2013, at Memorial Medical Center. Born Feb. 9, 1947, in Johnstown, daughter of the late Calvin and Helen (Teeter) Burger. Also preceded in death by brothers, Howard, Richard, Floyd and Melvin Burger; and sisters, Verna Baker, Gloria Kochis and Emma Novony. Survived by children, Joseph and Edward Buksa, both of Seward; and Sharon Stephens, and husband, David, Homer City; and grandchildren, Jessica Mastrilli and Vic, Seward; Bryan Williams, Indiana; Cody Stephens, Homer City; and Eric, Shelby and Tiffany Piker, all of Seward. Sister of Viola Edwards, and husband, Donald “Pinky,” Johnstown; Clifford Burger, and wife, Shirley, New York; and Patty Shaffer, Johnstown. Pauline enjoyed waitressing, especially at Ace’s Lounge and Coffee Cup; trips to the casinos and other games of chance; and most importantly, spending time with her family. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9  p.m. Wednesday at Richard C. Stuart Funeral Home, 392 E. Philadelphia St., Armagh, where service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday.
