Elfriede A. Wilt

WINDBER — WILT – Elfriede A., 83, Windber, died Oct. 30, 2013, at Windber Hospice. Born Jan. 30, 1930, in Germany, daughter of the late Josef and Maria (Doring) Binder. Also preceded in death by husband, Louis E. Wilt, who died in 1987. Survived by sons, Roland, married to the former Diane Tomko, Lambertsville; Jack, married to the former Stacey Gibbons, Windber; and Louis. Grandmother to Michelle, wife of Dan Miller, Silver Spring, Md.; Eric Wilt, married to the former Jennifer Smalldino, San Clemente, Calif.; Brandon Wilt, Johnstown; and Dustin, Dakota, Angela, Ian, Erica and Jason Wilt. Great-grandmother to Tyler and Trevor Wilt, California. Sister of Lore Haddenham, Windber; and Wolfgang and Hans, both of Germany. Member of Scalp Level Church of the Brethren. Lifetime member of the auxiliary to VFW, Windber. Retiree of Windber Medical Center housekeeping department. “Gone … but never forgotten.” Family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at Meek & Dalla Valle Funeral Home Inc., Windber, where service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, the Rev. Ronald St. Clair, officiating. Interment, Berkey Cemetery.
