Elizabeth Jane Quirk

KUTZTOWN — QUIRK – Elizabeth Jane, 89, Kutztown, died Tuesday, Nov. 5, 2013, of natural causes at Phoebe Allentown Health Care Center. She was the wife of Thomas C. Quirk Jr. Born in Johnstown, daughter of the late William and Leona (Widman) Reiber. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children, Ellen Fraumann, Madison, N.J.; Ruth (Gil) Tily, Phoenix, Ariz.; Elizabeth (Frank) Woods, Loudonville, N.Y.; Thomas (Mary Connolley) Quirk III, Highland Park, Ill.; Patrick (Mary Brandon) Quirk, Pittsburgh; and Brian (Victoria Hobbs) Quirk, Naples, Italy. Nineteen grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren also survive. She was predeceased by her sister, Anne Medlin. Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 9, at St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, Kutztown, Pa. 19530. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family. Friends may call to visit with the family from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 8, and from 9 a.m. Saturday until the time of Mass at the church. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Phoebe Allentown Health Care Center, 1925 Turner St., Allentown, Pa. 18104, or to Allentown Rescue Mission Inc., 355 Hamilton St., Box 748, Allentown, Pa. 18105.
