Harry R. Peles

HASTINGS — PELES – Harry R., 55, Hastings, died Thursday, Dec. 26, 2013, at Miners Hospital, Hastings. Born March 26, 1958, in Spangler, son of Harry and Lois (Bradford) Peles. Preceded in death by his grandparents, Richard and Orpha Bradford and Harry and Helen Peles. He was a loved husband, dad, son, brother and uncle. Survived by his wife of 24 years, Theresa (Hoover) Peles;  children, Katy, Dana and Ryan, all at home; parents, Harry and Lois Peles; and sisters, Charlene, and husband, Pete Barczak; and Cheryl, and husband, Mickey Lutch. He was a special uncle to Matt Barczak and Michelle (Barczak) Dolges. Harry served in the 876th Engineer Battalion of the Pennsylvania National Guard, Johnstown. Member of Hastings United Methodist Church. He worked for Altoona Pipe & Steel as an electrician. He loved God, his family and the outdoors. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. Memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Dec. 30, at Hastings United Methodist Church. In lieu of flowers, donations in Harry’s honor may be made to his children, c/o Theresa Peles, P.O.
