John F. Chrisko

JAMESTOWN — CHRISKO – John F. “Jack,” 68, Jamestown, passed away May 21, 2013, at home. Born May 18, 1945, in Jamestown, son of  Michael and Martha (Muldoon) Chrisko. Preceded in death by parents; sons, Scott M., Troy M. and Corey J. Chrisko; and brother, Donald J. Chrisko. Survived by loving wife of 45 years Mary “Molly” (Sanders) Chrisko; and daughters, Lynn Warner, and companion, Eric Kleman, Portage; and Colleen Varner, and husband, Jason, Orbisonia. He will be sadly missed by his grandchildren, Cody, Kaelea, Brady and Hannah. Brother of Doris, wife of Donald Patterson, Jamestown. Also survived by brother-in-law, John Sanders, and wife, Pam, Lilly; sister-in-law, Pattie, and husband, Michael Moncman, Columbus, Ohio; and nephews, cousins and numerous friends. Retired coal miner from Beth Energy Mine 33, Ebensburg. Member of Jamestown Rod & Gun Club. Jack was an avid Steelers fan and enjoyed family vacations in Ocean City. Friends received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Serenko-Claar Funeral Home, PC, Portage. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Portage, Father Walter Moll, celebrant. Committal, St. Brigids Cemetery Lilly.
