GREENFIELD, PA. — OFMAN – David M. “Davey O,” 55, Greenfield, Pa., died unexpectedly Tuesday, Oct. 30, 2012. Beloved son of Stanley L. and the late Annabelle (Horner) Ofman. Nephew of his loving aunt, Mary Ann Ofman. Brother of Dennis P. (Vickie) Ofman, Cambridge, Ohio; Robert A. (Barbara) Ofman, Clyde, Pa.; and the late Patricia Ofman. Also survived by eight nieces and nephews, four great-nieces and -nephews and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Dave was a graduate of United High School and the Electronics Institute of Pittsburgh. He was employed for 35 years by Combustion Service and Equipment Co. as a senior service technician. He was on the board of directors and served as secretary to Private Soldiers and Sailors Club of Greenfield and a supporter of Greenfield Baseball Association. Member of Wednesday Bowling League of Greenfield and Sunday Golf League. He was a past Person of the Year of Greenfield Organization. Also a member of St. Rosalia Church, Pittsburgh. Friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday and from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Edward P. Kanai Funeral Home, 500 Greenfield Ave., Pittsburgh. Funeral will be held at 9:30 a.m. Monday, followed by funeral Mass at 10 a.m. at St. Rosalia Church, Pittsburgh. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Private Soldiers and Sailors Club of Greenfield or a charity of your choice.
