OSTERBURG — CLARK – Mr. Floyd K., 84, Heritage Road, Osterburg, died at 6:03 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 11, 2012, at Altoona Regional Health System. Born Tuesday, Feb. 21, 1928,  in Bedford, son of the late Merle and Virginia Ruth (Feathers) Clark. Survived by daughters, Patricia L., wife of  Robert W. Reid, Brunswick, Ga.; and Brenda A. (Campbell), wife of  Robert J. Paolillo, Johnstown; and longtime companion, Martha Hippo, Altoona. Also survived by five grandchildren. Preceded in death by son, Gary P. Clark; brothers, Merle Clark Jr. and Paul Clark; and sister, Betty Hengst. Floyd was a member of Trinity Reformed Church, Osterburg. He served in the U.S. Air Force as a sergeant from 1946 to 1949 and during the Korean War. He worked as an electrician at the Juniata Shop and was employed for more than 30 years as an electric inspector for the commonwealth. He also was employed for 36 1/2 years with CONRAIL. Member of Bedford American Legion Post 113 and enjoyed gardening, reading and trains. Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 16, at Jack H. Geisel Funeral Home, Pleasantville, Pastor Charles L. Miller, officiating. Interment, Osterburg Community Cemetery. Graveside military rites will be accorded by Fort Bedford Honor Guard.
