Robert D. "Bobby" Lusczek Sr.

WINDBER — LUSCZEK – Robert D. Sr. “Bobby,” 75, Windber, died May 30, 2012. Born May 18, 1937, in Cairnbrook, son of the late Joseph and Helen (Jerz) Lusczek. Survived by wife of 47 years, the former Barbara Ruby; children, Robert Jr., married to the former Teresa Walerysiak, Virginia; Bernard, and wife, Beth, Central City; Christopher, married to the former Kena Peacock, Maryland; Barbara, wife of Michael Brzana, Windber; and Erika, wife of Robert George, Johnstown; and grandchildren, Jacob, Kaleb, Brittany, Bernadette, Bridgette, Dylan, Cody, Greta and Derek. Brother of James, married to the former Linda Lehman, Virginia; and Jeanette, wife of Raymond Dilicchio, South Carolina. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Bobby was the president of Polish Falcons Nest 97. Member of Argument Club and Carpenters Union Local 1419. Past president of the Polish Heritage Council. A U.S. Army veteran. Member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton’s Holy Name Society and Ushers Club. Friends will be received from 2 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Mulcahy Funeral Home, Central City. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, Father Leonard Voytek, VF. Committal, Sacred Heart of Jesus Cemetery.
