SEWARD — WALBECK – Charles E., 63, Seward, died Monday, Jan. 7, 2013, at his home with his family at his side. Born March 13, 1949, in Robinson, son of Angeline DiNunzio Walbeck of Robinson and the late Charles E. Walbeck. Prior to his illness, he had been employed by Conemaugh Generating Plant. Member of Bolivar United Methodist Church. Chuck enjoyed working on cars, maintaining his beautiful country home and spending time with his wife, sons and family. In addition to his mother, Chuck is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 34 years, Susan Treasure Walbeck; daughter, Jill Walbeck, Cave Creek, Ariz.; sons, Charles B. (Kelly) Walbeck, Las Vegas, Nev.; and Andrew C. (Karrie) Walbeck and Michael J. (Amanda Ault) Walbeck, all of Johnstown; sisters, Mitzi (Thomas) Henderson, Blairsville; and Natalie (Matthew) Stewart, Westford, Mass.; brother, Joel (Sue) Walbeck, Dilltown; mother-in-law, Elva Treasure, Bolivar; and brothers- and sisters-in-law, Sandra O’Donnell, Pittsburgh; Monte (Rebecca) Treasure, Pelham, N.H.; Jack (Monica) Treasure, Munster, Ind.; Peggy (Mark) Fuller, Ligonier; and Chris (Valli) Dragan, Latrobe. Chuck’s family and friends will gather together from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at J. Paul McCracken Funeral Chapel Inc., 144 E. Main St., Ligonier, where his life will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Thursday.
