RICHLAND — WILSON – Cleda S., 98, Richland, formerly of Cover Hill, went to be with the Lord Jan. 16, 2013, at Memorial Medical Center. Born Sept. 8, 1914, in Mount Hope, daughter of the late John and Ethel (Burnheimer) Reighard. Preceded in death by husband, Chalmer, who died in 1962; sisters, Zona Strayer, Wilma Layton and InaBelle Reighard; and brothers, Sheldon and Ronald Reighard. Survived by son, Dennis L., married to Carol (Hodges), Bluffton, S.C.; grandchildren, Troy, Michael and Kimberly; great-grandchildren, Sean, Tyler, Jennifer and Juliet; sisters, Nancy Restum, Brighton, Mich.; and Connie Clement, Mount Hope; brother, Ray Reighard, Greencastle, Pa.; and many nieces and nephews. Cleda was a graduate of Adams Township High School. She worked for Penelec for more than 25 years. Cleda was a member of Mount Hope United Methodist Church, several pinochle clubs and bowling leagues. She enjoyed working with flowers in her garden. Friends will be received from noon until time of service at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland, the Rev. Larry Rowe, officiating. Interment, Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The family suggests contributions be directed to Mount Hope United Methodist Church or Arbutus Park Manor in memory of Cleda.
