CARROLLTOWN — MILLER – Ruth M., 87,  Carrolltown, passed away Feb. 6, 2013, at Golden Living Center - HAIDA. Born Sept. 29, 1925, in Patton, daughter of Raymond and Savilla (Ivory) Link. Preceded in death by parents; infant twin sister, Cora; great-grandson, Dustin Miller; brothers, Edward and Wilfred Link; and sisters, Leona Biter, Kathryn Bender-Riek, Dorothy Hoover and Roberta Stoltz. Survived by loving husband of 66 years, Merle A. Miller, Carrolltown; sons, Kenneth (Dorothy) Miller, Johnstown; Lawrence Miller, Manheim; Harry (Patricia) Miller, St. Benedict; Kevin (Elizabeth) Miller, Ebensburg; and Dale (Judy) Miller, Cranesville; grandchildren, Kenneth and Dennis Miller; Larry Miller Jr. and Cherie Brubaker; Brian, Blaine and Brad Miller; Justin Miller and Jennifer Lowmaster; Sarah and Jarrod Miller; and eight great-grandchildren. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Sister of Dolores Adams, Hastings; and Shirley Semelsberger, Patton. Ruth was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who dedicated her life to taking care of her family. Member of St. Benedict Catholic Church. Friends will be received from 3 to 7 p.m. Friday at Moriconi Funeral Home Inc., Northern Cambria. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 1 p.m. Saturday at Prince of Peace Chapel, Father Thaddeus Rettger, OSB, officiating. Committal, St. Benedict Cemetery.
